Armed with a healthy supply of cigarettes, Sydney ventures back to her childhood home where she has had virtually no contact with her family in years. She arrives to find not much has changed in the Grannell household. Her exuberant Mom, greets her daughter with a martini in hand: a scene that is all too familiar to Sydney. Upon seeing this, Sydney tries to find solace in her brother, however, James' chilly reception reveals that past wounds between the two siblings are still fresh and overwhelmingly deep.
What ensues in the next 24 hours is an explosive collision of three troubled souls grabbling with the demons of addiction, guilt, and neglect. A family torn by a tragedy may further drift apart due to secrets, dysfunctions, and their inability to connect.
No One Island is a drama about death, forgiveness, and redemption. Each member of the Grannell family must come to terms with their past, learn to heal, and also realize that the bonds of family never die; but are forever connected in the world of the living and quite possibly, even after death.
